Opened in 1923, the course is located at the base of Eastern Washington's Blue Mountains. It's a relatively short course, but it has plenty of trees and small, fast greens, adding to it's difficulty. Milton-Freewater Golf Course is an 18-hole executive-length municipal course. The course features fantastic views of Walla Walla Valley. The structure of Milton-Freewater Golf Course basically creates two distinct courses in one. The first nine holes are at the base of a hill. The overall area is flat, with plenty of trees and quite a few traps. In contrast, the second nine holes are at the top of the hill. This area has lots of elevation changes, plenty of trees, and great views of the surrounding area. Two sets of tees are available to accommodate different skill levels.

Onsite, you'll find the Gillette and Weiler Golf shop, with an excellent selection of clubs and apparel, as well as club-repair services. And, if you need a meal, you can stop by the Upper 9 Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Finally, if you want to try something different, You can play an 18-hole round of footgolf.
